Lots going on...

This weekend was busy... Went to the goodwill while we were out doing our shopping... got a HUGE bag of ribbons for crafting.  there is more than I will ever use so I will be selling some of it on Etsy!

Today after Church we went to a FunD raiser for a really good friend of mine.  They had a barn fire & lost their milk house, calves, bull, chickens, pigs & 2 of the family dogs!  The milk cows had just been put out after their morning milking (thank God)... this was the families lively hood... a century farm that has been in the family for decades!  And they would give the shirt off their own backs so that you were warm!

There was such a great turn out!  When we left (before the crowds parted) they had raised well over $20,000 not including the silent auction items, the Milk can filled with money donations or the money donated at the local bank ...  Like she said... a $20 donation would buy a shovel, a wheel barrel & a hammer... Every little bit counts!

Today we witnessed the generousity of a farm community & the blessings of friendships & family!

Getting Ready For Halloween!

I am participating in a Halloween Blog Hop...

Getting ready for Halloween is something I really look forward to!

I am not sure where I got the treat box templates used so can not give proper credit.

I have changed up the design and stamped using a Halloween set... this may be a class one day!

now pop over to see who else is on this blog hop by visiting Fabulously Artsy

Fun on Friday!

Today I found out that in an upcoming card class there are 11 attendees registered and a scrapbook class with 8 registered so far... both taking place in October! WOW...that is awesome.

Here are a few of the cards I have made with Maggie:
